Bed & Brand Weighted Blankets are 15 pounds and filled with glass beads. The beads are separated into squares, which keeps the blanket evenly weighted. These beads have been certified to be non-toxic and not contain any harmful chemicals, meeting all requirements of California Proposition 65.
A duvet covers the blanket. There are eight sets of ties keep the Weighted Blanket from sliding around inside of the duvet. The duvet is made of 100% bamboo. When it comes time to clean the blanket there is no need to put the extra weight of the glass beads in your washer, just slip off the duvet cover and wash it. You also have the option to remove the duvet and use the bare blanket. If you do, you will be thrilled with how supple it is. The microfiber is made of a high GSM fabric, which makes it feel incredibly soft to the touch.
